19 of the Russian's twenty-one championships have been earned on hard surfaces
A comeback Daniil Medvedev claimed his first championship for 882 days with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the competition championship match.
Medvedev, a ex- number one, has had a difficult season, managing just one match at the big events and undergoing a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
His inconsistency on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his serve in especial - resulted in him falling of the world's top 10 and eventually parting ways with former trainer Cervara.
Now collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, he has steadily advanced in the recent weeks - climaxing in a tightly fought competitive triumph over Frenchman Moutet.
This represents Medvedev's initial title after the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard court from spring of 2023.
Success also indicates the Russian has secured twenty-one victories at twenty-one various events.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a competition with my two daughters simultaneously, so to get a trophy is really nice," stated tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in honour of my younger daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I achieved when my first daughter Alisa was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his previous six finals, including in that event earlier this year.
His counter-punching play style and regular reactions on the playing surface had prompted some to wonder if his skill to perform at the top level was finished.
But the 29-year-old has made changes in the past month, making an effort to approach the net and compete assertively, backed up by an improved serve.
The champion recovered from a deficit in the first set against the tricky opponent, taking 4 of the last five games to gain the advantage.
The competitors traded breaks in the second set before Moutet, attempting for his maiden professional championship, took control to push for a decider.
He saved 4 initial chances in a close third set before the champion secured a break to that score to close out the victory.
Appropriately, he earned the title with a point at the net area, with Moutet unable to manage a volley after over two and a half hours.
